About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive General Administrator to join our busy practice team at Brondesbury Medical Centre. You will support our Long-Term Conditions (LTC) and QOF team by ensuring patients are recalled for reviews, appointments are coordinated efficiently, and administrative processes support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. Your key responsibilities will include managing the practice recall system for long-term condition reviews such as diabetes, COPD, asthma, hypertension and mental health. You will contact patients via telephone, SMS, and self-booking links to arrange appointments and encourage attendance. Using Accurx, you will send bulk patient communications and manage recall campaigns to ensure patients receive timely invitations, reminders, and follow-up correspondence. You will work closely with clinicians and senior administrators to support accurate clinical coding and data quality, process Subject Access Requests (SARs) and insurance report administration, manage GP Links registrations and patient deductions, and provide general administrative support to the wider practice team as required.
Experience
Excellent organisational and administrative skills are essential. Strong communication and customer service skills are required. Good IT skills with the ability to learn new clinical systems are important. The ability to work accurately in a busy environment and prioritise competing workloads is necessary. Previous NHS or GP practice experience is desirable but not essential.
About you
You should be organised, proactive, and able to work effectively within a busy team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting high-quality patient care are important attributes for this role.
Qualifications
