As an Associate in the External Reporting Team within the Equities Product Control Group, you play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our Equities Trading business. You will help strengthen our control framework, drive process improvements, and implement innovative solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure compliance and transparency. Together, we create value for the business and support your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and enhance controls for daily and monthly balance sheet and liquidity processes
- Identify risks early and ensure robust data and reporting
- Seek and implement smarter, more efficient ways of working
- Automate manual tasks and challenge existing processes
- Reconcile trading positions, balances, and valuations with accuracy
- Investigate and resolve data mismatches and issues
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulations
- Participate in control testing and maintain clear process documentation
- Support audits and knowledge sharing across teams
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Alteryx
- Collaborate with trading, treasury, operations, and finance teams to align goals and share ideas
Experience
- Relevant experience in product control, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role
- Understanding of equities products such as cash equities, equity derivatives, swaps, and financing business
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, control enhancement, or automation initiatives
- Experience supporting audits or regulatory reviews is preferred
- Exposure to automation tools beyond Alteryx is a plus
- Experience working in a global or cross-functional team environment

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, STEM, or related field
- Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Knowledge of balance sheet and liquidity concepts is preferred
- Progress toward professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA is advantageous
