About the Role
BlackRock is seeking a qualified Associate-level investment professional to join the Global Infrastructure Solutions (GIS) business. The successful candidate will support underwriting, execution, and ongoing management of infrastructure multi-manager investments, focusing on secondaries and co-investments in Europe. This role is based in London and involves occasional travel.
GIS is a division within Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), part of BlackRock, specializing in infrastructure investments across sectors such as energy, transport, digital, water, and waste management. Together, GIP and BlackRock manage approximately $180 billion in assets under management.
The GIS team builds and implements outcome-oriented infrastructure private equity portfolios globally through investments in secondaries, co-investments, and primary funds. The team invests across diverse sectors including transportation & logistics, energy & power, digital, environmental, and social infrastructure, with a strong track record of over 250 investments since 2008.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting deal underwriting and execution by conducting market research, developing complex financial models and analyses, coordinating commercial, legal, and tax workstreams, collaborating with team members and cross-functional resources, creating investment memos, and presenting investment recommendations to investment committees and clients.
- Monitoring and managing portfolio investments, maintaining GP relationships, and preparing materials for performance review meetings.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of infrastructure investment experience, preferably with secondaries underwriting (GP-led and LP-led transactions) or principal investing experience.
About you
Proven quantitative skills with experience building and analyzing financial models. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Tolt. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Fluency in English is required; professional competency in additional languages is desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
