Your primary responsibility will be to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks across Amazon's global retirement programs while ensuring compliance obligations are met.

This hands-on individual contributor role requires subject matter expertise in retirement benefit matters and regulatory requirements for international retirement programs. Additional responsibilities include plan design, governance and fiduciary oversight, improving the employee experience, and oversight of investment fund management across multiple EU countries. The role demands strong critical thinking, attention to detail, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Experience with AI-powered analytics tools, automation platforms, and generative AI applications for data analysis and risk modeling is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing risk management solutions that identify, assess, and mitigate pension-related risks while supporting strategic initiatives and scaling for growth
- Reviewing international retirement plans to identify operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks
- Developing corrective action plans to resolve vulnerabilities and address emerging risk scenarios
- Executing risk assessments for retirement projects, audits, and compliance reviews and managing escalations
- Researching risk scenarios, maintaining country-specific risk inventories, and developing automated dashboards using AI tools
- Tracking regulatory changes and developing risk-adjusted compliance strategies
- Leading or participating in vendor selection processes with embedded risk considerations
- Traveling up to 20% for on-site risk assessments and stakeholder engagement

- Experience dealing with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Project management experience including resource planning, schedule management, reporting, and prioritization
- Strong business analysis, quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills including intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
- Experience in customer service and delivering customer-focused documentation across multiple teams

About You
- Strong critical thinking skills with superior attention to detail and sound judgment
- Highly organized and analytical with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Passionate about customer service, employee experience, and risk management excellence
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams across geographies and business units
- Proactive, independent, and able to meet deadlines and deliver on projects

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
