The Global Senior eCommerce Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the commercial success and digital performance of CT.com. This role is responsible for optimising the strategic trading and promotional calendar through a deep understanding of the consumer, commercial performance, stock position, and site experience to maximise conversion, revenue, and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting day-to-day leadership of an ambitious and skilled team, promoting a culture of agility, accountability, and limitless thinking.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of eCommerce to align strategic priorities, commercial targets, and performance goals.
- Owning recommendations for promotional thresholds, mechanics, and testing to drive KPIs.
- Distilling performance reporting into actionable insights and identifying reporting improvements.
- Maintaining a holistic view of sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, margin, stock availability, and customer behaviour to inform trading decisions.
- Overseeing landing-page analysis and optimising product detail and listing pages.
- Building relationships with global commercial partners to unlock opportunities and optimise calendar activity.
- Managing site P&Ls and contributing to decisions on commercial levers including shipping, discounting, and promotional investment.
- Supporting global demand and sales forecasting in partnership with Supply Chain, Finance, and eCommerce colleagues.
- Ensuring launches, promotional activity, and peak trading periods are supported by appropriate stock and operational readiness.
- Acting as the primary eCommerce contact for Tech Product Managers, providing clear scope and briefs for new requirements.
- Managing on-site commercial trade levers and maintaining the relationship with Algolia to ensure relevance and discoverability.
- Monitoring industry activity, emerging tools, and digital innovation to bring commercially relevant recommendations.
This role reports to the Head of eCommerce and works closely with Ecommerce and Digital teams globally.
Experience
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of trading levers, forecasting, stock risk, profitability, and customer journey optimisation.
- Ability to translate sales, stock, and customer data into clear commercial actions.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of vector databases and retrieval strategies is a plus.
- Experience with recommender systems and ranking models.
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation tools such as RAGAS, TruLens, LangSmith, or Arize.
- Working understanding of cloud networking and platform infrastructure.
