About the Role
Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.
At M Group Rail and Aviation, our team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Land & Utility Surveyor to join our Surveys team, supporting multiple projects across our frameworks.
As a Graduate Land and Utility Surveyor, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Support multiple survey teams working across a range of disciplines, including land and utility detection.
- Learn how to manage workloads effectively—both your own and in collaboration with others.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism on every project.
- Communicate with different departments and project teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Share ideas and learn from experienced colleagues to help improve team performance.
- Gain exposure to industry standards such as PAS128 and understand their practical application.
- Assist with survey reporting and data management, supporting the Site Manager and wider team.
Our 2-year structured graduate programme is designed to help you grow into one of our future leaders. You’ll be given challenges that stretch you, chances to learn new skills, and all the support you need along the way.
As an M Group Graduate, you can look forward to:
- Tailored development workshops with monthly bite-sized virtual sessions and quarterly face-to-face events, plus teambuilding activities to grow your confidence, build leadership skills and connect with people from across the business.
- The Early Careers Network run by graduates and apprentices, where you can share ideas, work together and get involved in exciting projects.
- A strong support network with our Early Careers team and colleagues ready to guide you, answer your questions and cheer you on.
- Support for your professional development with advice and resources to help you work towards professional qualifications (e.g., ICE chartership).
We encourage applications as soon as possible as adverts may close early. Successful candidates may be subject to third-party background checks and some roles require drug and alcohol testing as part of induction and onboarding.
