About the Role
Vortexa was founded to solve the immense information gap in the energy industry by leveraging vast satellite data and pioneering artificial intelligence to provide real-time insights into global seaborne energy flows. Our mission is to bring transparency and efficiency to energy markets and society as a whole.
The challenge involves ingesting thousands of data points per second from diverse sources, processing terabytes of data in real-time, running complex AI prediction and forecasting models, and combining these outputs with human-machine data refinement. This is all delivered through a nimble, low-latency SaaS platform used globally by traders, analysts, charterers, hedge funds, and other oil trade market participants.
As a Graduate Product Manager, you will join the Product Management team as an individual contributor reporting to the Head of Product Strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, design, engineering, product marketing, and customer success to ensure we continue to provide a market-leading analytics platform and build an intelligent energy market.
Your responsibilities will include executing and refining the product roadmap for flows and onshore inventory products (crude and refined products), prioritising customer problems and product ideas to focus on high-value areas, and using AI tools to combine quantitative analytics with qualitative customer feedback and competitor insights. You will lead rapid product discovery and prototyping, gather feedback from subject matter experts and customers, track success metrics and KPIs, and collaborate closely with technical product managers and engineers to deliver and launch new products and features effectively.
