Groundworker South West London

Location
South West London region including Sutton, Croydon, Battersea, Wandsworth, Merton, Guildford, Redhill and surrounding areas. Primary working area allocated with flexibility to work across the wider South West region as required.
Hours
Full Time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Call outs on a rota basis.
Salary
£35,530 per annum (single trade)
About the Role
Join London and Quadrant Housing Trust's Repairs Team as an experienced Groundworker. This permanent role offers a company vehicle for business use, PDA fuel card, uniform, PPE and paid parking. You will be responsible for all aspects of groundwork including fencing, brickwork and pointing, concrete works, and slabbing. Knowledge of additional trades is welcomed.
Candidates should have experience in drainage repair and renewal, flagging, fencing, concrete works, tarmac patching, and manhole repairs. High pressure water jetting of drains is also carried out; training will be provided for this.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality workmanship, outstanding customer service, and a right-first-time attitude. You will work as part of a larger team and require knowledge of building and housing, preferably within the social housing environment. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with vulnerable people are essential.

Experience
Proven experience in groundwork including fencing, brickwork, pointing, concrete works, slabbing, drainage repair and renewal, flagging, tarmac patching, and manhole repairs. Experience in high pressure water jetting is not required as full training will be provided.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications stated, but relevant trade experience is essential. A valid driving licence and ability to operate company vehicles may be desirable.
