As Group Finance Manager (Financial Accounting and Control), you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of the Group's financial reporting while leading a talented team and influencing decision-making at the highest level.
You will oversee the Group's statutory reporting, regulatory submissions, and internal control framework, ensuring financial systems are accurate, compliant, and efficient. As a senior member of the Financial Reporting and Control team, you will drive a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across NHG's Finance function.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing quarterly, interim, and final audits across Group entities; overseeing preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory returns; supporting the Head of Financial Accounting and Control; ensuring accurate monthly recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions; conducting analytical reviews and providing insights on Group performance; coordinating year-end audit timetables; staying abreast of technical accounting developments; building strong relationships across departments; and leading, mentoring, and developing your team to achieve excellence and professional growth.
Experience
- Extensive experience preparing statutory accounts, ideally at Group level, and leading audits
- Strong understanding of financial control frameworks and accounting standards
- Proven experience managing and developing teams

Qualifications
- Fully qualified CCAB accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, or equivalent) with evidence of ongoing CPD
