About the Role
The UN Global Compact Network UK is seeking a Growth Manager for Outreach & Marketing to lead member recruitment and oversee marketing strategies. This senior role owns the end-to-end marketing and outreach function, including lead generation, pipeline management, and conversion. You will line manage two Outreach Managers and a Participant Engagement Coordinator, providing strategic direction, coaching, and oversight to ensure team targets are met.

As Growth Manager, you will act as a senior ambassador for the organisation’s value proposition, driving strategic outreach to engage C-suite and sustainability leaders at prospective member companies. You will develop and execute the annual recruitment and marketing plan, lead high-impact marketing campaigns across digital channels and events, and ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.

You will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality pipeline in Salesforce, producing regular growth performance reports, and providing data-driven forecasting and insights to senior leadership. Collaboration with programme colleagues and external partners will be key to aligning growth activities with the Network’s broader impact agenda.

Requirements

Experience
- Significant experience in consultative sales, business development, or growth roles within professional services, sustainability advisory, or corporate commercial functions
- Proven track record managing complex sales cycles and long-term account relationships
- Demonstrable knowledge of corporate sustainability, with credibility to engage C-suite and senior business leaders
- Proven ability to develop and execute lead-generating marketing strategies using digital channels, content marketing, and event-based outreach
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, AI tools, and Salesforce CRM
- Experience producing clear growth reports, forecasts, and maintaining pipeline hygiene
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident presenting to senior audiences and representing the organisation externally
- Proven people management experience in a target-driven environment with an inclusive leadership style
- Strategic and commercially minded with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
