About the Role
This is an opportunity to join the Royal British Legion's Individual Giving team as a Growth Officer, with two roles available within the Growth function. These posts focus on building stronger, more valuable relationships with existing supporters by increasing engagement through targeted cross-sell, thoughtful upsell, and reactivation activity that brings lapsed supporters back into active giving. You will play a central role in delivering structured supporter journeys that ensure the right asks are made at the right time in a relevant and well-coordinated way across wider fundraising activity.

You will work closely with managers, senior stakeholders, data teams, and agency partners to turn audience insight into clear, well-planned, and effectively delivered campaigns. This role involves building and delivering targeted communications that respond to supporter behaviour and lifecycle stage, focusing on planned journeys that are tested, measured, and improved over time.

Responsibilities include supporting planning, briefing, and delivery of activity, ensuring coordination across teams, clear communication with stakeholders, and alignment with wider Growth and Individual Giving priorities. The role suits someone highly organised, comfortable working at pace, confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and able to communicate clearly to keep delivery on track.

You will bring a practical, delivery-focused mindset, able to take planned activity and make it happen effectively while helping build stronger, more effective supporter relationships over time.

Fundraising is central to The Royal British Legion's 10-year strategy, with investment in people, skills, and ideas to drive growth and strengthen support for the Armed Forces community. As one of the UK's most trusted and recognisable charities, this is an exciting time to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team shaping the future of fundraising and impact.

Employee benefits include 28 days' paid holiday (plus bank holidays) increasing with service, optional annual leave purchase scheme, enhanced paid maternity, paternity and adoption leave, generous pension contributions (6% to 10%), flexible working options depending on role, Employee Assistance Programme, learning and development courses, volunteering opportunities, travel loans, Cycle to Work scheme, and more.
