About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Escort / Fabric Operative to join our team at HMP Feltham. Feltham A is a 15 to 18 year old male prison and Feltham B is an adult male prison. Join a supportive and driven team that works together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Feltham operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of people to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the site. Your work will impact prisoners, employees, visitors, and the wider community.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators, all dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment. This is an opportunity to use your skills to contribute to rehabilitation and positive change within the prison system.

Experience
- Experience of prison environment (desirable)
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Previous experience working within building fabric or Hard FM environment

Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills. Good Health & Safety knowledge. Ability to work effectively as part of a team committed to creating a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications
- Up to date First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (desirable)
