About the Role
As an HCA Phlebotomist / Care Navigator at Belgrave Medical Centre, you will undertake a variety of clinical duties including phlebotomy, ECGs, Care Plan and Mental Health clinics. You will carry out NHS Health Checks, monitor blood pressure, and take height and weight measurements. Supporting personalised care plans and health reviews will be a key part of your role, alongside assisting patients with care navigation and signposting to appropriate services. You will proactively support patients to improve their health and wellbeing within the community. Additionally, you will maintain and manage stock levels, ensuring clinical rooms are fully stocked and organised, monitor vaccine and clinical stock supplies, and support cold-chain processes as required. Accurate clinical coding and documentation within SystmOne is essential. You will also promote health education and preventative healthcare initiatives, support the nursing and clinical team with infection prevention and control procedures, and deliver excellent customer service to provide a positive patient experience at all times.
Experience
Previous experience in phlebotomy, ECG, or clinical support roles is desirable but not mandatory. Experience with NHS Health Checks and personalised care planning is advantageous.

Qualifications
Relevant clinical qualifications or certifications in phlebotomy, ECG, or healthcare assistance are preferred. Training will be provided for specific duties such as personalised care plans and clinical coding within SystmOne.
