Salary

About the Role
Cog Design is a digital design agency specialising exclusively in arts and culture since 1991. We create world-class websites for exceptional venues and have an unparalleled portfolio of the UK’s most exciting arts organisations. We are seeking an experienced designer ready to take the lead on design across multiple concurrent projects. This role involves working from big picture concepts through to systematic implementation, primarily focusing on complex, well-considered websites for theatres, venues, and arts organisations, alongside branding and campaigns.

You will need a strong understanding of website design, particularly for sites that clients will manage themselves. A key part of the role is understanding the cultural sector and what inspires its audiences. You will initiate discussions, lead presentations, interpret and integrate feedback from multiple perspectives, and be a clear, plain-spoken advocate for our values with colleagues, clients, and the wider community.

Our team operates in a hybrid model, so regular presence in our London studio is expected at least Monday to Wednesday.

About You
- Ability to explain complex tasks clearly and simply.
- Enthusiasm for the arts and culture sector with empathy for the needs of arts-based clients, supported by personal or professional experience.

- A plain-spoken advocate who can champion company values internally and externally.
