£90,480 to £100,207 per annum (London weighted salary) or £79,245 to £88,568 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience
About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an appropriately qualified, self-motivated and highly organised individual to take on the role of Head of Finance – Performance Reporting at London and Quadrant Housing Trust. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance - Reporting & Monitoring, you will lead a close-knit, motivated, highly performing and engaged team of finance professionals. Your key responsibilities will include leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost management to ensure accurate and timely financial operations that enable informed decision-making across the business. You will partner with strategy leaders to translate financial performance into actionable insights, supporting business plans through cost analysis and funding assessments. You will coordinate annual and quarterly financial planning cycles, ensuring alignment between operational budgets and cashflow forecasts with clear assumptions and rigorous reviews. Maintaining strong financial governance through effective policies, internal controls, and risk management practices will be essential. Additionally, you will develop finance colleagues professionally, foster a high-performing team culture, and drive improvements in systems, workflows, and stakeholder communication.

Additional Information
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Early applications are encouraged as the recruitment process may close earlier than stated. Interviews will be held in person at the L&Q Stratford office.
Experience
Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, delegate effectively, and foster a positive team culture. Strong financial analysis and commercial awareness to support strategic decision-making and organisational goals. Knowledge of capital expenditure and investment appraisal techniques is desirable. Sector-specific experience is helpful but not essential.

Skilled in managing priorities and risks, with proficiency in business software and financial tools to support analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
Professionally qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) is essential.
