About the Role
Lead the future of Adult Social Care at the Royal Borough of Greenwich by driving a new vision that places people, communities, partnerships and staff at the heart of everything we do. This senior leadership role is pivotal in transforming how support is delivered through neighbourhood-based, preventative and integrated approaches aligned with the NHS 10 Year Health Plan.

As Head of Service – Neighbourhood Wellbeing & Resilience, you will lead Greenwich's contact and neighbourhood-based social care teams across four neighbourhoods, developing integrated system responses by bringing together services, partners and communities to deliver innovative, preventative and person-centred support.

You will foster strong local partnerships, shape integrated access and first-contact arrangements, co-produce neighbourhood solutions reflecting local strengths and needs, and drive cultural and systemic change through partnership working and shared accountability. Your leadership will promote independence, wellbeing and resilience through preventative and community-led approaches while maximising resources and delivering best value through effective leadership and collaborative planning.

You will inspire teams and partners around a shared vision, lead transformation in complex environments, build trusted relationships across organisations and communities, and champion person-centred, strength-based and outcome-focused practice.
