About the Role
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking an experienced Head of Wigs to lead the wig department for the West End production of The Book of Mormon. The successful candidate will manage a team, ensuring the smooth running of the department and maintaining the WHAM designs throughout the production. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with all other departments and associated personnel. The Head of Wigs must be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, demonstrating strong organisational and time management abilities to ensure the production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Experience
Relevant hands-on professional experience in a management position is essential. Experience on a large-scale production is required. Candidates should have a proven track record of running a successful wig department.

About you
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Calm and efficient under pressure with strong organisational and time management qualities. Experience in wig-knotting and barbering skills is desirable.
