Kings Hall Mews, London with reporting offices also in Stratford or Manchester, Trafford. Hybrid working available with 20% - 40% of contractual hours worked from the reporting office or working location.

£40,649 to £45,000 per annum (London weighted salary) or £36,073 to £40,000 per annum (Regional salary), dependent on experience
About the Role
Join the Corporate Health & Safety Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) as a Health & Safety Advisor. You will be part of a diverse and experienced team of around 30 professionals covering workplace safety, construction, fire and building safety, and employee wellbeing. The team plays a vital role in shaping a safe and healthy working environment across L&Q.
In this role, you will provide expert advice and support on a wide range of health and safety topics to frontline staff and managers. You will lead and contribute to safety-related projects, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Key responsibilities include promoting high standards of health and safety across all L&Q workplaces, maintaining and improving the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS), designing and delivering training, processing incident reports, conducting audits, facilitating risk assessments, monitoring compliance, encouraging safe behaviours, and building strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders such as local authorities.

Experience
Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role, ideally in a multi-site or housing environment. Experience of incident investigation and collating health and safety data to produce reports, articles, and presentations. Experience designing, developing, and delivering training courses and programmes.

Qualifications
A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (minimum) and membership with a recognised health and safety institute. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation supported by ongoing professional development. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required due to travel between offices based on business needs.
