Hybrid working – 2 office days per week, with up to 5 days operationally active across sites depending on business needs.

£46,300 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a curious, confident, and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join Peabody. You will work across our Construction, Design and Management (CDM) areas, including new builds, care and support properties, and community spaces. This broad and operational role covers every aspect of building safety across our portfolio. You will provide reliable, customer-focused health and safety advice across the business, support managers and teams with risk assessments, audits, inspections, and training, and investigate incidents to help shape safer ways of working. You will also work closely with the People team to support employee wellbeing and help embed health and safety policies and procedures that reflect best practice and current legislation.

Requirements

Experience
Some health and safety experience is essential, ideally with knowledge of CDM regulations and building safety. Proven ability to build strong relationships across a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. Demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills to persuade others to adopt new ways of working. Strategic communication skills with confidence to ask difficult questions and drive positive change.

About you
You are proactive, values-driven, and thrive on building relationships and delivering results. Comfortable working independently, managing your time effectively, and juggling multiple priorities.

Qualifications
A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate is required. Support will be provided to work towards a NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH graduate membership.

Additional Requirements
Must have a clean driving licence, access to own vehicle, and business insurance. Right to work in the UK is essential; visa sponsorship is not provided.
