Up to £32,134 per annum

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Planned Care team at HMP Thameside, a category B male resettlement prison with a capacity of 1232 inmates. You will support the wider healthcare team in delivering high-quality care within a secure environment. This role offers a chance to make a real difference to the lives of those in custody while working in a dynamic and supportive setting. You will receive a bespoke induction including the Introducing Health in Justice training course, ongoing competency development, and access to regional and national career opportunities. Our dedicated Learning Management System and wider team support will help you grow and succeed in your role.

Experience
Previous healthcare experience is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt to the secure environment is important.

Qualifications
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Due to the nature of the role, employment offers are subject to additional vetting and security checks. Relevant healthcare qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
