About the Role
Are you passionate about preserving history and enhancing access to heritage collections? The UK Parliament is seeking a Heritage Collections Information Assistant to join the Strategic Estates team, supporting the professional management of three nationally and internationally significant collections: the Parliamentary Art Collection, Historic Furniture and Decorative Arts, and Architectural Fabric. In this role, you'll play a key part in improving and streamlining collection documentation, supporting data cleansing and preparation for migration to a new Collections Management System (CMS). You will work both independently and collaboratively across the Parliamentary Estate and storage facilities, ensuring information is accurate, standardised, and aligned with SPECTRUM documentation standards.

Experience
- Working with collections documentation in a museum, historic building or heritage institution
- Using heritage sector collections management software
- Strong understanding of documentation standards (SPECTRUM) across diverse object types

- Good organisation and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
