Job Purpose The Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) is one member of a team of professionals that will include teachers and other teaching assistants. The Team works together to care for and educate the pupils in the school. The HLTA makes a specific contribution to their specific subject area and / or curriculum contribution to the school teaching and learning programme. You will: Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our pupils Support the vision and values of our school Inspire pupils with a passion for learning An understanding of specific learning needs and styles to differentiate support to pupils The ability to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking A desire to help all pupils succeed Compassion towards the needs of the pupils.
