About the Role
Join our Homeownership Team at L&Q as one of two Homeownership Officers. These exciting fixed-term (12 months) opportunities involve providing a high-quality service to homeowners, leaseholders, shared owners, and prospective purchasers, ensuring professional, accurate, and timely advice and support.
One role focuses on the Pre-Sale Enquiries Team, supporting homeowners, solicitors, and buyers throughout the sales process by reviewing leases, preparing LPE1 packs, and providing solicitors with accurate information to facilitate smooth property sales and shared ownership resales.
The second role is within the Staircasing, Lease Extensions & Subletting Team, supporting homeowners through various property transactions and homeownership services. This includes reviewing and interpreting leases, managing staircasing, lease extension, and subletting cases from enquiry to completion, and working closely with homeowners, solicitors, valuers, and internal teams to progress transactions efficiently while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Both roles are part of a busy, customer-focused team handling telephone and written enquiries from homeowners, solicitors, and other stakeholders, ensuring all requests are managed efficiently and within agreed timescales. You will build positive working relationships, provide excellent customer service, and help deliver a smooth and seamless sales experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in leasehold, homeownership, conveyancing, or a property-related environment who has strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret legal documentation confidently.

Excellent pension plan (up to 6% double contribution), 28 days annual leave rising to 31 days with length of service plus bank holidays, Westfield Health Cash Plan, non-contributory life assurance, up to 21 hours volunteering paid days, lifestyle benefits, Employee Assistance Programme and more.
Experience
Experience in housing, property, conveyancing, or a legal environment is essential. Knowledge of shared ownership, leasehold, and homeownership processes is required.
