About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a site near Liverpool Street. This role is ideal for a passionate chef who thrives in a quality-focused, professional food service environment and values a great work/life balance. Key responsibilities include complying with all client and company health & safety procedures, including food information regulations and food safety checks; running a section of the kitchen to the required standards; preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to agreed standards and portion specifications; supervising and training commis chefs or kitchen assistants within your section; ensuring correct food recovery and storage to minimise waste; assisting with food ordering and stock control; supporting the receipt and proper storage of deliveries; maintaining high standards of cleanliness across kitchen and work areas; ensuring the safe and correct use of kitchen machinery and equipment; and carrying out other reasonable duties to support effective food service delivery.

Experience
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role. Previous experience in contract catering is desirable.

Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare complex, refined dishes. Quality-driven with excellent attention to detail. Creative with knowledge of current food trends. Sound understanding of food hygiene, health & safety standards. Able to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Passionate about food and a positive team player.
