Kingston upon Thames, Zone 6 with good transport links in and out of London.

Hours
The post holder will be required to be in the office 4 days a week.

Salary
£33,987 per annum

You'll receive full training, including support to achieve a recognised Housing qualification, while playing a key role in helping the team meet regulatory standards and deliver high-quality services.

Deliver a high-quality housing management service with a strong focus on exceptional customer service and efficient service delivery. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, actively engaging with tenants to ensure a responsive and consistently excellent housing management experience.

Kingston is a vibrant and diverse university town with an idyllic riverside location, good shopping, great restaurants, and a mix of modern and historic town centre. The borough offers open parklands and cycle routes connecting district town centres, creating an enjoyable place to live and work.

We are passionate about working closely with our residents and vulnerable groups to help them maintain their independence and create a balance between support and independent living.

Our team consists of 8 housing officers managing over 4500 properties within Kingston, fostering a friendly, collaborative, and can-do culture committed to delivering excellent services.

Requirements

Experience
Some understanding of housing or tenancy management is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

About you
Proactive and adaptable individual with strong communication and IT skills. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and committed to developing your career by achieving a recognised Housing qualification within two years (if not already held). Comfortable working collaboratively with residents, colleagues, and partner organisations. Confident engaging with a range of stakeholders and working both in the office and at housing surgeries across the borough. Bring a creative, innovative approach to problem-solving, an understanding of housing regulation and consumer standards, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications
Support will be provided to achieve a recognised Housing qualification within two years if not already held.
