About the Role
The Resident Services Team supports tenants to sustain their tenancies and promotes independence, quality of life, safeguarding, and well-being across a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance, hoarding, tenancy management, mediation, life skills, and personal independence. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer specialising in Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) to join our team. You will play a crucial role in managing and resolving ASB cases, helping to create safe and harmonious communities. Your expertise in conflict resolution and community engagement will be key to fostering a peaceful living environment.
Responsibilities include investigating and managing ASB complaints in line with policies and procedures, liaising with residents, local authorities and external agencies, conducting estate inspections to identify ASB hotspots, maintaining accurate case records, and providing support and guidance to residents affected by ASB.
Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in social housing or equivalent transferable skills
- Proven track record in ASB management and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management
- Experience using housing management software such as Open Housing and Microsoft Office

Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Policing and Crime Act 2017 and the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014
- A degree or housing qualification such as CIH is preferable but not essential
