About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join the Legal Services team at Wandle Housing Association. We are looking for a highly responsive and collaborative individual to join as the Housing Paralegal to support the in-house disrepairs legal team. You will provide legal casework support to the in-house lawyers in managing all claims handled within the team, with particular emphasis on disrepair claims and access injunctions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Case Management and Litigation Support: Assist with managing housing-related legal matters including disrepair claims, injunctions, tenancy enforcement cases, and court cost recovery, ensuring deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.
- Legal Documentation and Evidence Preparation: Draft legal correspondence, prepare court bundles, witness statements, chronologies, and collate evidence to support legal proceedings and dispute resolution.
- Stakeholder Liaison and Legal Administration: Act as a point of contact between the Legal Services team, operational departments, external solicitors, barristers, and the courts, maintaining accurate case records and supporting effective legal processes.
Experience
Experience in housing law, ideally within a Housing Association. Knowledge of litigation and court processes is essential. Strong case management and organisational skills are required.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications stated, but relevant legal or paralegal qualifications would be advantageous. Right to Work in the United Kingdom is mandatory as Wandle cannot sponsor visas.
