Location
London, W12 7TF with hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Based in Ed City - London or Lift New Rickstones in Essex.

Hours
30 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year (29.6 hours is also an option) with a flexible working pattern. Hours can be spread across 4 or 5 days depending on personal preference. Part-time options available from a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Salary
£28,624 - £29,572 per annum plus wellbeing cash plan, pension scheme (LGPS), and additional Lift Schools benefits.

Contract
Fixed term until August 2026.

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator (ITT Onboarding) to join our Central Team. This pivotal role ensures Lift Schools meets all statutory and regulatory requirements relating to safer recruitment, employment compliance, and Initial Teacher Training (ITT) processes. You will lead pre-employment checks, safeguarding compliance, and onboarding for ITT trainees, maintaining rigorous standards and robust systems to keep safeguarding at the heart of all we do. This role suits someone who thrives on precision, values compliance excellence, and understands the importance of accuracy to protect and support our schools and trainees. You will coordinate onboarding, manage compliance processes, develop and deliver training, and act as the first point of contact for ITT compliance queries.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead compliance for employment checks ensuring full adherence to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
- Oversee DBS, right to work, reference, and medical clearances for all staff and trainees.
- Ensure employment contracts, offer letters, and variation letters are accurate, compliant, and issued on time.
- Maintain robust and auditable compliance records and produce regular reports for senior leaders.
- Manage ITT compliance processes in line with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding for new ITT trainees to ensure a smooth, compliant, and welcoming experience.
- Develop and deliver training on compliance and onboarding procedures.
- Provide expert advice and guidance as the first point of contact for ITT compliance queries.

Requirements

Experience
- Experience in a compliance, administration, HR, ITT, or safeguarding role is essential.
- Knowledge of DBS and right to work checks and processes is desirable.
- Experience working within education or ITT compliance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace is desirable.
