About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Officer to deliver a high quality HR administration service to our Central Team. This varied and fast-paced role supports our wider HR strategy by managing onboarding, payroll changes, absence records, compliance reports, and HR queries. You will play a vital part in ensuring data accuracy, safeguarding compliance, and fostering a positive colleague experience across the employee lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities will include coordinating onboarding and pre-employment checks, preparing contracts and HR letters, maintaining HR records and reports, managing the Single Central Record and absence recording, supporting line managers with induction and probation tracking, and acting as the first point of contact for the central HR inbox. You will also produce reports and presentations to support the Senior HR team, assist with annual audits, oversee administrative preparation for HR meetings, and coordinate trust-wide HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Experience
Proven experience in HR administration, ideally within education or multi-site settings.

Strong attention to detail and confident data handling skills. Organised, calm under pressure, and able to meet deadlines. Proficient in Google Workspace and MS Office tools.
