About the Role
The Accommodation Consultant (AC) will serve as the primary contact for employees and senior leadership throughout the accommodation and workplace adjustments process. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, superior attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. The AC will perform accommodation reviews to ensure compliance and support employee requests, act as a subject matter expert on the accommodations process and the Equality Act, and manage cases end-to-end. Collaboration with stakeholders, leave of absence case managers, and third-party administrators is essential to finalize accommodation decisions and implement approved adjustments. The role also involves educating employees and HR on complex return-to-work and accommodation processes, maintaining high-volume case loads, and adhering to internal SLAs and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include providing training, maintaining accurate system records, and participating in projects within the Disability and Leave Services (DLS) program. Occasional travel to sites may be required.

Requirements

Experience
- Experience in Human Resources or a related field
- Relevant experience supporting employees on benefits and interacting with HR or employee relations functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of the Equality Act
- Experience managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment preferred

- Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 CEFR)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence others in a cross-functional environment
- Self-motivated and able to thrive with minimal supervision in a dynamic, growing environment
- Ability to travel to sites when necessary

Qualifications
- Evidence of end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage, and complete work/projects with tight deadlines
