This exciting newly established role of Inclusive Education Lead will drive the College's strategic approach to inclusion through quality improvement. The postholder will ensure every learner can access an ambitious curriculum and achieve highly, regardless of background, disadvantage or additional need. Responsibilities include monitoring learner experience and outcomes to guarantee access to an inclusive curriculum and collaborating with curriculum leaders to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and assessment through evidence-informed adaptive teaching that removes barriers without lowering expectations or diluting curriculum intent.

Requirements

Experience
Applicants should have recognised Teacher Status or a recognised teaching qualification and a degree or relevant equivalent professional experience. Experience of successful teaching within further or secondary education is required, along with experience in teaching, learning and assessment.

About you
You are committed to inclusion and quality improvement, with the ability to lead strategically and work collaboratively with curriculum leaders. You are passionate about removing barriers to learning while maintaining high expectations and curriculum integrity.

Qualifications
Recognised Teacher Status or a recognised teaching qualification and a degree or relevant equivalent professional experience are essential for this role.
