About the Role
As an Influence Director at Ogilvy, you will lead some of the most exciting and challenging projects in the industry, working with major global brands that shape culture. You will be responsible for delivering strategic and impactful influencer campaigns that meet client objectives and demonstrate the power and diversity of influence within the marketing mix. This role involves managing multiple workstreams and brands for a large Beauty & Skincare client in the UK, continuing the account's award-winning success.

You will lead a team in all aspects of influencer campaigns including criteria setting, vetting, identification, negotiation, implementation, and reporting. Collaboration with influencers, media, PR, social, brand activation, digital, and other stakeholders—both internal and external—is essential to deliver exceptional campaigns.

Additional responsibilities include managing and updating the influencer database, staying current with cultural and social trends, and understanding customer attitudes. You will also have opportunities to lead new business pitches, market reviews, and competitive trend analysis. This role places you at the forefront of the industry, working alongside experts to deliver innovative and effective influence campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead client service and day-to-day management of influencer campaigns, supporting managers and executives from creative development through to reporting.
- Own the influencer process and strategy across accounts.
- Create and manage client budgets specific to your brands.
- Plan, run, and attend high-profile events aligned with brand strategy.
- Collaborate with senior account team to meet objectives and anticipate future needs.
- Lead measurement and reporting efforts, identifying and implementing improvements.
- Design and define industry-leading influencer strategies including objectives, targets, action plans, calendars, and budgets.
- Align and collaborate with media, PR, social, brand activation, digital, and other stakeholders to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
- Nurture talent opportunities and relationships to support influencer programs.
- Stay updated on cultural/social trends and customer insights.
- Contribute to the development and promotion of the influencer offering across the business through thought leadership and industry event participation.
- Lead additional projects such as new business pitches, market reviews, and competitive trend analysis.
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients based on proven delivery.
- Ensure cross-portfolio consistency and learning implementation across brands.
- Provide senior counsel to clients on industry developments and their relevance.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience as an Influence Director, ideally 1-2+ years at this level.
- Strong understanding of influence strategy and experience managing large brands.
- Experience working with beauty and skincare brands is desirable.
