About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced creative visual team at The Telegraph. You will be part of the Graphics team, where we continually transform information into compelling visual storytelling forms, underpinned by graphic design and journalistic principles. You will help shape the future of The Telegraph’s graphic journalism by using your creativity to engage our audience with informative content. The ideal candidate will adapt visual ideas to different narrative types and apply them across relevant digital and print formats.

Key responsibilities include creating engaging information graphics for print and digital platforms, visually communicating complex subject matter clearly and concisely, developing new approaches for presenting stories, and working on breaking news, lead stories, investigations, and longform features. You will interpret, edit, and visualise data into engaging graphic journalism pieces, report to the Director of Graphic Journalism, manage daily workflow, and help establish long-term information design standards.

You will collaborate with editors, reporters, data journalists, producers, designers, developers, animators, illustrators, and video producers. Researching topics to enhance graphic quality, pitching ideas to editorial desks, leading conversations on information graphics, and sharing technical developments with colleagues to advance the team’s capabilities are also key parts of the role.

Closing Date
30th July
