About the Role
The Infrastructure & Advisory (I&A) team at Mizuho is seeking an Analyst to join its growing platform in EMEA. As part of the I&A junior pool, you will support a broad range of financing and financial advisory assignments across the infrastructure sector. This role offers exposure to multiple products and transaction types, including project finance, acquisition financing, M&A advisory, financing advisory, and capital raising transactions. Working closely with senior bankers, Associates, and Vice Presidents, you will contribute to transaction execution, financial analysis, client engagement, and business development activities while developing a broad and well-rounded infrastructure banking skill set.
Duties include supporting execution of financing and advisory transactions, building and maintaining financial models, preparing client presentations and internal materials, conducting research, supporting due diligence, assisting with transaction structuring and documentation, collaborating across teams, maintaining transaction records, contributing to marketing initiatives, and undertaking ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.

Experience
1-3 years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, M&A, transaction services, consulting, or a related financial services environment.

Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and financial statement analysis skills.
Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, energy, utilities, transport, digital infrastructure, or related sectors.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working directly with clients, advisers, and transaction counterparties.
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and support the development of junior colleagues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with a strong academic record.
