About the Role
CGI's Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit delivers innovative technical solutions for government agencies, focusing on mission-critical systems that help keep us safe and secure. We are seeking experienced Infrastructure Engineers to join a fast-moving DevSecOps team working on hybrid on-premises and cloud projects. You will be involved in designing, building, deploying, testing, and supporting infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and AWS. The role includes working with VPNs, firewalls, VMs, multi-factor authentication, Active Directory, monitoring tools, network performance, resilience, and security design, as well as integration scripting and application configuration.

Experience
- Ideally 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering including design, build, deployment, testing, and support
- Experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure deployments
- Kubernetes architecture and platform engineering including pods, services, deployments, networking, and software-defined networking
- Containerisation and orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Apache Mesos
- Scripting skills in Python or Shell
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Cloud compute experience primarily with AWS, also GCP or Azure
- Familiarity with GitOps tooling such as Argo CD
- Infrastructure security, compliance, and governance knowledge
- Experience with CNCF ecosystem and building platforms on Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Experience working with agile development methodologies and tools such as Git
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work across diverse stakeholders and multiple sites
