About the Role
We have an exciting 6-month interim opportunity to cover maternity leave within our finance team at HealthHero. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will lead all aspects of monthly and annual group financial reporting, including preparation for the year-end audit. This high-profile role offers exposure to senior management and requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong technical accounting skills, and hands-on attention to detail.
Main responsibilities include leading the preparation and delivery of consolidated group and sub-group financial statements, managing year-end reporting processes, and maintaining relationships with external auditors. You will prepare supporting audit documentation, coordinate responses from finance teams across the UK, France, and Germany, and lead the preparation of the 2026 annual accounts including key statements and notes.
You will provide technical accounting expertise in areas such as financial instruments, share schemes, consolidation accounting, and non-controlling interests. Additional duties include analytical review and commentary to support performance improvement, reviewing and maintaining accounting policies to ensure compliance with standards, preparing consolidation journals and intercompany reconciliations, and driving improvements in the use of the OneStream consolidation and reporting system. You will also deliver accounts for statutory entities at a local level and co-own Group and UK tax issues alongside the Group CFO.

Experience
- Extensive experience in consolidation of group accounts and statutory financial reporting
- Strong technical accounting skills with extensive IFRS and tax knowledge
- Proven experience managing relationships with senior and junior partners
- Experience working in cross-border teams and navigating international nuances, including travel as required
- Demonstrable track record in performance improvement environments
- Extensive year-end and month-end closing experience
- Exposure to consolidation and reporting systems for financial accounting and general ledger management
- Experience accounting for and reporting on loan facilities, including intercompany loans, external borrowings, accrued interest, and related disclosures is highly desirable
