As International Policy Officer, you’ll use your knowledge of the UK and international policy landscape to identify and analyse publicly available information, monitor trends and intel to produce reports and briefings related to global nursing and issues impacting the internationally educated nursing workforce. You will support with scoping, planning and delivering projects, and develop relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders. You will collaborate with policy and public affairs colleagues from across the UK countries and wider RCN functions. To join us you’ll need to be able to be able to demonstrate that you have knowledge of the UK and international policy landscape, have an understanding of the lobbying landscape and experience of stakeholder engagement. You will also have experience of carrying out policy or political desk research to produce summaries and briefings, and be able to demonstrate your ability to contribute to stakeholder content on policy issues. Ideally you’ll have knowledge of working with international organisations and experience of undertaking analysis of policies produced by UK Government departments or international organisations. Our selection process We are looking for a candidate with knowledge of the UK or international policy landscape and experience of stakeholder engagement. You will need to demonstrate that you have experience of undertaking policy or political desk research to produce summaries and briefings.
