About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to our Investment Banking business. As an Analyst in Investment Banking Coverage for Central and Eastern Europe, you will assist with execution, marketing, and coverage work including public and private mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across all industry sectors. You will also support equity capital markets advisory on various capital raising transactions such as listings and rights issues across the CEE region, collaborating closely with colleagues from the team as well as other industry and product teams across regions. You will develop strong functional skills in key areas of investment banking and demonstrate the ability to become a senior officer capable of generating and executing your own transactions. Job Responsibilities
- Support execution, marketing, and coverage work across industries and products
- Conduct research and analysis of market data and companies
- Support preparation of client presentations
- Perform valuation analyses including multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.
- Build detailed and complex financial models
- Execute transactions from pitch to close including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and equity capital markets advisory
- Lead execution functions and supervise junior analysts on certain tasks

Experience
Relevant Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience with a strong understanding of the transaction cycle for investment banking products.

- Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with investment banking databases such as FactSet and Bloomberg

Qualifications
Fluency in a Central and Eastern European language is preferred. This role involves performing UK regulated activities; therefore, the successful candidate must meet UK regulatory requirements regarding fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and where appropriate, obtain approval from the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
