About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join J.P. Morgan's Investment Banking Healthcare Coverage Group, serving clients across the EMEA region. The group provides a full range of investment banking services to leading firms in the healthcare industry, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raising. As an Associate, you will play a key role in business strategy and execution, participating in the full cycle of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, financial modelling and analysis, and client presentations. You will lead execution efforts, collaborate with analysts, associates, senior bankers, and colleagues across industry and product teams both regionally and globally. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects including client communication and advisory team collaboration internally and externally
- Develop content for strategic client meetings related to M&A and capital market transactions
- Conduct detailed valuation and financial analyses including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, LBO analysis, and transaction structuring
- Prepare presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, memoranda, and other materials for corporate finance transactions and strategic client dialogue
- Manage daily deal execution and project management, maintaining regular client dialogue
- Interact with senior team members and client management to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
- Liaise with J.P. Morgan product teams, global sector teams, UK equities, and research departments

Experience
- Prior investment banking experience, preferably within a Healthcare coverage role
- Proficient financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and numeracy skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Comfortable and professional client interaction skills
