About the Role

As an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Middle Market team, you will work alongside top-tier professionals at one of the world's leading global investment banks. The Leveraged Finance Middle Market group focuses on direct lending, leveraged loans, and high yield bond products, playing a key role in financing corporate capital needs such as working capital, capital projects, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and dividend recapitalizations. JPMorgan holds a commanding leadership position in these product specialties.
In this role, you will analyze and identify optimal capital structure solutions across debt instruments, coordinate deal efforts across internal and external teams including industry coverage, global corporate banking, credit, legal, and client teams. You will prepare financial models, term sheets, credit approval packages, marketing materials, and participate in client and investor meetings.

Experience
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative client solutions. Experience in financial modelling, financial statement analysis, and conducting due diligence is highly desirable.
About you
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Highly motivated, adaptable, able to multitask and manage projects independently. Comfortable working in a team environment with a high level of attention to detail and time management. Excellent presentation skills and confidence presenting to senior management, investors, and senior members of the firm. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional European language is preferred.
Qualifications
This role involves regulated activities; therefore, the successful candidate must meet regulatory requirements related to fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence as assessed by the firm and relevant regulatory authorities. A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is typically expected.
