About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Investment Banking team. The EMEA M&A Diversified Industries team is responsible for originating and executing public and private M&A transactions involving corporate and financial sponsor clients across a broad range of industrial sectors. These include automotive, aerospace & defence, building materials, capital goods, chemicals, industrial technology, paper & packaging, transportation logistics, and infrastructure.

As an Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining strategic dialogue with key clients and executing M&A transactions. You will work closely with analysts and assist senior bankers in all aspects of deal execution.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing content for strategic client meetings regarding M&A transactions
- Interacting daily with senior team members and client management to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
- Leading process coordination on mandated transactions
- Defining, guiding, and reviewing detailed valuation analyses including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analyses
- Defining, guiding, and reviewing combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and supervision to analysts

Experience
Proven investment banking experience with emphasis on live executions is required.

Qualifications
- European language skills (in addition to English) are preferred but not required
- Prior exposure to Diversified Industries is helpful but not mandatory
