About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Infrastructure Finance and Advisory group within JPMorganChase's Investment Banking Division. The group has a global mandate to advise clients on financing infrastructure projects and collaborates with coverage, product, and sales teams to develop and execute financing solutions across transportation, energy, utilities, and social infrastructure sectors. The London-based team primarily focuses on Europe, Middle East, and Africa and consists of experts in project finance, bonds, loans, structured products, and derivatives.

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in executing the firm's business by working closely with senior bankers and expert professionals at a leading global investment bank. You will gain hands-on experience, continuous mentoring, and numerous development opportunities. Your responsibilities will include acquisition finance, greenfield and brownfield finance, restructuring and recapitalisations, ratings advisory, and capital structure advisory.

By leveraging expertise across products, sectors, and markets, you will integrate and customize offerings to help clients meet their strategic, financial, and risk management objectives. You will develop financial models, conduct financial risk analysis, assist in transaction due diligence, draft financing proposals and marketing materials, coordinate across multiple teams, engage with clients and third-party advisors, and support the preparation and negotiation of financing documentation.

Requirements

Experience
3-5 years of investment banking or private equity experience. Infrastructure/project finance experience is preferred.

About you
Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to multi-task and manage projects independently. Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders in a wide range of situations.

Qualifications
Proficient quantitative and analytical skills, including advanced financial modelling, valuation, and debt structuring capabilities. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint. This role involves regulated activity; therefore, the successful candidate must meet regulatory requirements related to fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence as assessed by the Firm and, where appropriate, receive approval by relevant regulatory authorities.
