Location
Based within Islington (Please note, there is no step free access). You will also work flexibly across multiple services including Elephant and Castle, Havering and central office, with some home working possible.

Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. Flexibility may be required as per service/department needs.

Salary
£29,500 per annum

About the Role
We are looking for an IT and Data Support Officer to join our central team, collaborating with our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) services. You will maintain and support data systems and IT infrastructure across our services, managing CRM systems and providing first line IT support including ticketing requests, troubleshooting, technical issues, and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure consistent and timely data reporting.

You will work across multiple projects to ensure performance metrics are accurately tracked and communicated, proactively identifying and resolving data or system-related issues. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives for the service and wider organisation.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in data input, extraction, and reporting is essential. Familiarity with online platforms and systems such as Power BI, Trello, Inform, and Microsoft Office is highly desirable. Experience with systems used by the Ministry of Justice is an advantage.

You are passionate about IT and data and able to apply this practically in a working environment. You have transferrable skills and understand the values and mission of SIG. You are comfortable working across different services, building professional relationships with staff, residents, and external partners.

- Working knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, and databases

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience in IT, data management, or related fields are desirable but not explicitly stated. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
