About the Role
The IT Operations Engineer is accountable for the provisioning and maintenance of access to the IT applications and for supporting controls management within the Treasury IT portfolio. You will be part of the Treasury Operations team within GF Finance, Data & Reporting SOM, managing over 10 Super Prime & Prime business critical applications that oversee Shell's daily cash position.

Your responsibilities include provisioning and maintaining application access in compliance with SOX and IT control requirements, liaising with relevant parties to ensure access management processes and tooling are fit for purpose, embedding regulatory and compliance controls in landscape operations, and assisting with evidence collection. You will support the compliance specialist in addressing audit queries related to access management and controls execution.

Additionally, you will assist the Senior IT Operations Lead in managing services provided by suppliers, ensuring contracted performance levels are met. You will work closely with Managed Service teams supporting the applications, sometimes driving their deliverables and quality of work. This role involves virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse teams, managing multiple delivery priorities and demand requests across complex application landscapes and organizational boundaries.

You will interact with senior business and IT stakeholders in Finance, requiring strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience in supplier/vendor management
- Hands-on experience in user access management
- Working knowledge of incident, problem, and change management
- Strong understanding of IT controls and compliance requirements

About you
- ITIL certification
- Strong process orientation and process management capabilities
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict and ambiguity while working across complex organizational and business boundaries
- Capable of taking end-to-end accountability with minimal supervision and clearly conveying technical issues to all levels

Qualifications
- Relevant IT certifications such as ITIL
- Experience working in a global, virtual environment is advantageous
