Our values are: We Care, We Do the Right Thing, We Strive to Be Better Every Day, We Are One BTP, and We Are Proud to Protect. Join us and help create an environment where we can all be our best every day.

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join the IT Portfolio Delivery Team on a 23-month fixed term contract. In this critical role, you will lead all aspects of delivering technology solutions for Estates-related projects, including new site openings, relocations, and decommissioning activities. You will ensure IT services and infrastructure are seamlessly integrated into physical changes across the organisation.

You will work closely with the Senior IT Project Manager, Estates and Network colleagues, and senior stakeholders to scope, plan, and deliver IT elements that enable operational success. These projects are high-profile, technically challenging, and essential to the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the successful delivery of IT elements for Estates projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Managing IT project costs, resources, risks, issues, and interdependencies, ensuring seamless integration with Estates activities.
- Defining and communicating project scope, objectives, costs, deliverables, and timelines to senior stakeholders, providing comprehensive documentation including project highlight reports.
- Developing IT elements into robust business cases to gain approval and translating them into actionable operational plans.
- Collaborating with Estates, Networks and the wider change community to embed technology change effectively and ensure best practice in reporting and processes.
- Managing and developing a team of change professionals, supporting performance, growth, and wellbeing.
- Delivering medium IT projects that are complex and technical in nature, critical to the success of wider programmes and portfolios.

This role offers a blended working arrangement of home and office working and may require travel and occasional overnight stays as projects are Force wide.

- Skilled in creating and assuring effective project documentation aligned to governance processes and standards.
- Experience leading and motivating teams to deliver all stages of the project lifecycle.

About you
