About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented IT Asset Management (ITAM) Engineer to oversee the full lifecycle management of IT assets across the organisation. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and auditable asset inventories, ensuring software licence compliance, supporting procurement and vendor management activities, and driving optimisation of IT asset utilisation and cost efficiency. You will work closely with IT Operations, Service Management, Procurement, Security, Finance, and external vendors to ensure strong governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness across the IT estate. The role also involves developing and continuously improving ITAM processes, standards, and reporting capabilities in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Your key duties include managing the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware, software, and technology assets from procurement through to disposal; maintaining accurate asset records and configuration data across ITAM and ITSM platforms; monitoring software licensing compliance, maintenance renewals, warranties, and vendor agreements; conducting regular asset audits and reconciliations; identifying opportunities to optimise asset utilisation and reduce unnecessary spend; supporting procurement activities including forecasting, purchasing, receiving, deployment, and disposal; collaborating with Security and Compliance teams to ensure policy and regulatory adherence; developing and improving ITAM policies, procedures, standards, and governance controls; producing KPI reporting and asset analytics to support decision-making; and working closely with stakeholders across IT and business functions to support continuous improvement initiatives.

CGI is one of the largest IT and business consulting services firms globally, offering a collaborative culture rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging. As a CGI Partner, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions, build strong relationships, and access global capabilities to scale your ideas and career.
