About the Role
As a Junior Event Project Manager within Project Farm's Retail Division, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and the Account Lead of Retail to deliver seamless end-to-end public realm activations and retail events. You will manage a range of small-scale events, ensuring smooth operations from planning through to delivery, including supplier management, budgeting, client communication, and on-site coordination. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across retail, placemaking, and public realm activations, supporting a diverse portfolio of property clients and working alongside a passionate, collaborative team. You will also assist with corporate bookings at Drumsheds and contribute to proposals, budgeting, and event debriefs. The role requires strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent client relationships and supplier coordination.
Experience
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in the events industry, delivering small to mid-scale events from concept to completion
- Proven experience managing event logistics, suppliers, staffing, and on-site delivery
- Strong budgeting and financial administration skills, including invoice processing
- Experience briefing, managing, and coordinating staffing teams and external partners
- Solid understanding of event operations, scheduling, site visits, and on-the-ground delivery
- Working knowledge of health & safety processes, risk assessments, and compliance within events
- Confidence in client communication, including leading meetings and managing expectations
- Proficient organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly
- Strong communication skills and collaborative team working
- Good working knowledge of Google Drive and general office tools, with ability to learn new systems quickly
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel when required
About you
You are a friendly, organised people person passionate about events and eager to gain hands-on experience. You understand customer journeys and event flow, ensuring events are properly resourced and run smoothly. You build strong relationships with staffing suppliers, event suppliers, and site teams. You have great logistics skills and a good understanding of basic production set-ups including AV, power, lighting, and permits. You are detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are specified; however, relevant experience and a proactive attitude are essential.
