About the Role
HES Catering Services is the Local Authority provider of school meals for the London Borough of Havering, working in partnership with local schools and academies to deliver award-winning meals and catering services. We pride ourselves on supplying a wide range of high-quality catering services to the majority of schools within the borough, as well as offering bespoke solutions to schools and businesses with in-house catering teams.

As a Kitchen Supervisor at St Mary's School, you will undertake the preparation, simple cooking, and serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council’s contractual arrangements. You will be part of a dedicated team that serves over 15,000 meals daily across schools, ensuring healthy, fresh, vibrant, and tasty meals are provided using the highest quality produce.

This role reports to the Area Catering Manager or a higher graded manager and includes direct line management responsibilities for staff. Your working hours and duties will be as defined on the staffing profile.

Experience
Previous experience in catering or kitchen supervision is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm for working in a school catering environment and managing a team is important.

Qualifications
