£36,273 per annum plus 3% bonus

About the Role
This Labourer role reports to the Senior Agent and is part of the Powercare team within Network Operations. You will work as part of a 2-person excavation team carrying out excavation, backfill, and reinstatement works on Faults, Small Service, and Unmetered Connections work streams within the UK Power Networks LPN Distribution Licence area. Responsibilities include performing risk assessments, maintaining safe working practices, operating handheld IT equipment to receive job instructions and record site information, and ensuring quality of works meets current procedures and guaranteed service standards. Security of vehicle, tools, plant, and equipment is a top priority. You will also be expected to undertake other reasonable responsibilities as required and act as an ambassador for UK Power Networks.

Experience
Experience working on electricity networks and plant operator qualification (mini excavator) are advantageous but not essential. Demonstrating a strong safety culture is important.

- NRSWA Units 001-003
- CSCS Operatives card
- Emergency First Aid
- Banksman qualification
