About the Role
UK Export Finance's Digital Data and Technology Group provides expertise across Digital Delivery, Product Management, User Centred Design, Data and Analytics, and Technology. The Lead Delivery Manager role sits within the Digital Delivery team, leading multi-disciplined teams to build and manage digital services for UKEF.
As a highly motivated and experienced Lead Delivery Manager, you will actively contribute to the Department’s growing digital capability by representing and championing the role within UKEF, government, and industry. You will lead the community of practice, build capability and excellence in Agile and Lean practices, recruit the right people, support professional development, and promote effective cross-functional delivery.
You will be a skilled team leader, able to communicate the value of the role to both digital and non-digital stakeholders, and be credible and influential across departments.
Main activities include managing digital services through discovery, alpha, beta, and live stages, overseeing multiple teams or squads, working closely with stakeholders to deliver service vision aligned with policy goals, coaching and mentoring teams in Agile tools and techniques, and ensuring teams have the right environment and tools to deliver user-focused value.
You will actively lead the delivery manager community, foster a diverse and inclusive culture that stimulates innovation, work within UKEF’s Project Management Governance Framework, operate and iterate live digital services, set delivery standards, manage delivery metrics, and act as an escalation point for operational issues.
Experience

Qualifications
Education to degree standard or equivalent demonstrable experience
